nightriders

It was an amazing evening on horseback. We left for a ride with a friend. She rode her Finnish Draft and I had another friend's Friesen mare. Sun was still up as we left, riding through a woods and cantering in snow on straight trails roads. As we slowed down and took the long walk (and a bit of trot) home, the sun set and the stars began spotting the sky. It was one of those moments that can never been explained. And no words were needed as we rode back to the stables.
